its a well known story in calhoun county wv of my grt.grt.grandfather "finding" a cherokee boy age 7-9 yrs old in the woods an raising him as his own. i am a decendent of this boy i fear his parents were on the trail of tears is there anyway to find out if he was legally adopted? or who his parents may have been? & are there any rolls that have both indian & american names????
