Hello my name is Sally Baker and I am doing the Plains Indians with Year 8 at the moment and we have come across a stumbling block!
I cannot find any information explainging the different symbols and colours that were painted onto the horses: zigzags, stripes, circles, handprints, animals tracks, etc. Do you have any information about what these shapes and colours meant?
