Rowena Ward, my spouse, is a descendent of William Weatherford, as documented in the book "A History of Dozier, Alabama. The Kimbro family of Dozier traces back to grandmother Myrtle Lee Weatherford. She was married to Jennings Kimbro. She died in May 1969 and is buried in Kimbro Cemetary along with several other Weaterfords.
