Eagle Gallery offers smudge bowls, medicine bags and lighter cases
among our selection of Native American items. All are designed
and
made by the Red Eagle family.
Medicine
bags are small (usually) bags that are worn around the neck,hung from belts, etc or placed in a special place. They are used tohold and
keep things special or sacred to the inidividual.
All are decorated with rabbit fur and a variety of beads or teeth.

Smudge bowls are used to burn sage, cedar ortobacco as incense or ceremonial reasons. Each smudge bowl is
completely handmade from terra cotta clay, painted with designs and is
glazed.
