Red Eagle Gallery offers items made from the bones
of the American Bison (Buffalo).
Necklaces and other items are made from parts of
various animals: turtles and rattlesnakes.
Are items are handcrafted by the Red Eagle family.
All
are hand carved from the shoulder blades, ribs, leg bones or pelvis
bone.
They
are NOT made by grinding bone and adding an
adhesive and then molding.

Needles were
used to sew buckskin, leathers and furs. An awl would be used topunch the hole, and the needle used to pull the sinew through thehole. These are made from the buffalo leg bones.
